Alexander Zugaro

Mr. Zugaro's legal foundations were laid at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in White Plains, New York, where he earned his Juris Doctor cum laude in 2015. His academic journey was marked by his role as senior editor of the Pace Law Review and consistent appearances on the dean’s list. He is authorized to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. His academic path began with an undergraduate degree from St. John's University in 2011.

Before joining Phillips & Associates | Sexual Harassment, Discrimination & Employment Lawyers, Mr. Zugaro honed his courtroom prowess as an assistant district attorney at the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office from 2015 to 2018. During this time, he skillfully navigated numerous cases to verdict, handling both jury and nonjury trials and managing over 350 cases through various legal stages. He presented felony cases to grand juries, showcasing his adeptness in legal proceedings.

Following this, Mr. Zugaro took on the role of associate attorney in a New York law firm’s insurance fraud practice group. Here, he diligently investigated and prosecuted numerous medical providers, representing major global insurance companies in the fight against fraud.

Celebrated for his achievements, Mr. Zugaro has earned a place in the prestigious circles of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum – exclusive clubs for attorneys who have won significant seven-figure settlements for their clients. Through skillful negotiations, strategic mediations and courtroom victories, he has amassed millions in settlements, showcasing his remarkable ability to deliver substantial results.
