Vanessa Brice

Vanessa L. Brice is a partner at the Colling Gilbert Wright & Carter law firm in Orlando, Florida, helping clients in the surrounding areas with personal injury-related matters involving:

An emigrant from Mutare, Zimbabwe, Ms. Brice became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2000, after her husband, a marine drill instructor, was moved on military orders from the U.S. Embassy in Harare to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and then to Parris Island, South Carolina, and Orlando, Florida. She worked as a paralegal during this time and later, decided to study law, enrolling at the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University – College of Law. 

During law school, Ms. Brice joined the Colling Gilbert Wright & Carter law firm as an intern and went on to become an attorney at the same firm. After earning her law degree in 2009, she was admitted to practice law in all the state courts of Florida the following year. She is also licensed before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and the United States Courts of Federal Claims, in Washington D.C. 

A Veterans Administration accredited attorney, Ms. Brice is elected as a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and listed as a Legal Elite in the Florida Trend magazine. Furthermore, she holds a “Very Good” rating on Avvo, for her wealth of legal knowledge and professional achievements in the legal field. 

Ms. Brice stays connected with the legal community by maintaining memberships in many prominent legal associations such as the Florida Justice Association, the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association and The Florida Bar’s Military and Veterans Affairs Committee.
