Fermin Lopez

After earning an undergraduate degree in legal sciences from the University of Central Florida in 1999, Mr. Lopez studied law at the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law. He graduated with honors in trial advocacy in 2003 and was admitted to practice in Florida the same year. He is also admitted before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. 

Prior to pursuing his passion for the law, Mr. Lopez served with the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division in Operation Restore Hope in Somalia, Africa. He was also a paratrooper with the 18th Airborne Corps in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. 

Actively involved in his local community and within the legal circle, Mr. Lopez is a member of the 
Orange County Bar Association, the Florida Justice Association, the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association and the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida. He also serves as an adjunct professor at the Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law and is on the board of directors of the Colombo American Medical Association.
